We believe the overland community is built around more than just gear. Our events are a chance to connect face to face, explore what's possible with your build, and meet the people behind the brand. Come as you are, leave inspired.
Adventure Van Expo
Come see Rhino in San Juan Capistrano for vans, campers, overland builds, gear, and plenty of trail-ready inspiration. We’ll be at the booth Saturday and Sunday — stop by, check out the builds, and say what’s up.
Overland Cafe
Pull up. Land Rovers, coffee, and good company.
We're hosting the Overland Cafe at the shop with our friends from the Land Rover Club of San Diego and the Southern California Rover Club. Bring your rig, bring your dog, bring whoever — we'll have coffee on and the bay doors open.
Whether you're running a Series, a Defender, an LR3/4, or anything in between, come hang out, talk builds, and check out what the clubs are up to this season.
Open to everyone. Non-Rovers welcome too.
Yota BBQ
Rhino Adventure Gear and the San Diego chapter of the Toyota Land Cruisers Association, Beach N Toys, invite you to join us for a Yota BBQ! TLCA is a Land Cruiser community that started in California in 1976 and has grown into one of the most respected Toyota off-road organizations in the country, focused on preserving, building, and actually using these rigs the way they were meant to be used.
Whether you've got a built rig, daily a Toyota, or just want to hang out and check out some cool trucks, come by. We'll have burgers, hot dogs, music, and a solid lineup of Land Cruisers and other Toyota builds.
Open to everyone — bring your friends, your family, and your appetite.
Tune Outdoor Camper Showcase
Join us for a Tune Outdoor Showcase and Owner Meetup at Rhino Adventure Gear. This event is open to the public and is a great opportunity to see Tune campers in person, explore different setups, and connect with current owners. Whether you're just curious or seriously considering a build, come take a closer look.

Overland Expo SoCal 2026
We're gearing up for Overland Expo SoCal 2026, and we couldn't be more excited to hit the show floor. There's nothing better than walking through rows of incredible builds, connecting with fellow adventurers, and getting inspired for the year ahead. Overland Expo SoCal has quickly become one of the premier gatherings for the overland community, bringing together top brands, innovative gear, and thousands of passionate enthusiasts under one roof.
Camp Shred 2026
We're excited to be exhibiting at Camp Shred 2026 in Cardiff-by-the-Sea — the largest surf demo in the world and a true celebration of surf, adventure, and community. Set against the backdrop of San Elijo Campground, this free, festival-style event brings together top brands, live music, food trucks, and an overland vehicle area all weekend long.
You'll find Rhino Adventure Gear in the Overland Area, showcasing dialed builds, premium rooftop tents, rack systems, and adventure-ready upgrades. Stop by our booth to check out the gear in person, talk builds, and take advantage of show specials while you're there.
California Overland Adventure and Powersports Show
Hope to see you all at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend! We'll be set up with a few rigs, lots of swag, and a wide selection of products on site available for purchase. We'll even have some show specials on rooftop tents, fridges, and radios!
