About Rhino Adventure Gear
Back in 2017, Rhino Adventure Gear was born with one big idea: get people outside and make sure they're kitted out properly. We're talking hand-picked, top-quality gear and the kind of craftsmanship that makes your campsite the envy of the wilderness. Those values are still totally our thing. But we've grown a lot since then — expanding our lineup of premium gear so even more outdoor lovers can join the adventure.
We dreamed of piloting our outfitted Toyota down dirt roads, sandy beaches and rock-piled tracks; of leaving the noisy crowds in the rearview. In its extreme form, this type of expedition is called 'Overlanding,' and in its more moderate form it's called 'Backcountry Exploring.' We call it, "Getting Out There!"
We've teamed up with some amazing international brands, but we've got a soft spot for the smaller, local makers who bring something truly special to the table. Community is a huge deal to us too — from exciting events like our Overland Cafe series to hands-on educational seminars, we love bringing people together around a shared passion for the outdoors.
Our mission is simple: Share our success and help you get outside by seeking out and sourcing the very best overlanding and backcountry equipment available. There's a growing community of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy adventuring off the beaten path and setting up camp in remote, 'inaccessible,' locations. We agree with this growing community — that the enjoyment lies in the preparation, the journey, and of course in the time spent at your destination. And we are here to help you get prepared.
